The State Coordinator Program is one of the most unique benefits of VN DPG. State coordinators provide invaluable member engagement at the grassroots level. From conveying timely and relevant information to organizing networking events to recruiting members, it is a great opportunity to hone leadership and communication skills. Our state coordinators exhibit and present at the Academy's regional and state affiliate meetings, as well as community events (Vegfests), and other professional plant-based conferences across the country.
If you are passionate about promoting vegetarian nutrition, consider becoming a State Coordinator! We are in the process of filling vacancies for states that don’t have a volunteer or where the current volunteer’s term is expiring. Please check the current state coordinator list, and see if there is a vacancy for your area. Being a State Coordinator is a wonderful way to get more involved with our DPG and to prepare you for future leadership with our organization.
