VN Research Grant!

The purpose of the Vegetarian Nutrition Research Grant is to recognize an individual for innovative research related to plant-based nutrition. One award of $10,000 at least every two (2) years or as the budget allows.

VN DPG is pleased to report that a $10,000 Research Grant has been awarded to Dr. Roman Pawlak from East Carolina University. His research is entitled "Assessment of Telomere Length in Offspring of Vegan and Non-Vegetarian Mothers."






How to Join VN Today!

Existing Academy Members:  

  • Go to the Academy website: eatrightpro.org
  • In the upper right, click on the orange, "Sign In" button.
  • Enter your Member ID/Username and Password and click on the Login button
  • Click on the "My Academy" button in the upper right.
  • Scroll down to the section "Membership Information"
  • Select "add groups" and follow the prompts to select VN.


New Academy Members:

  • Go the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics website: eatrightpro.org
  • In the upper right, click on the orange, "Sign In" button.
  • Complete the online application. As part of the process, you will be able to choose membership in one or more Dietetic Practice Groups (DPGs). To join VN, click on the box next to Vegetarian Nutrition.
